Civil Engineering

Diploma in Civil Engineering is a 2-year professional program focused on five key aspects of designing, developing, building, supervising and maintaining the infrastructure. The program offers an understanding of the concepts through theoretical and practical approach, where students learn to correlate structure with environment and transportation simultaneously. The course entails study of the subjects like mathematics, physics along with core fields including construction material, structure mechanics, roads and bridges physics, engineering graphics, etc. The Diploma course is a well-structured program laid out in modules to expound designing and development of big structures like dams, tunnels, underground pipe networks, etc. A potential civil engineer has work opportunities at construction sites and development plants. A candidate is required to have completed senior school or equivalent level of examination in Science stream with a minimum 50% score from a recognized board to be eligible for the program.
