Elementary Education

Diploma in Elementary Education is a 12-18-month specialized program focused on academic growth and overall development of children. Education at elementary level is significant for being a base of formal education.

The course adapts several practical techniques or skills and theoretical knowledge to be imparted with students. The concepts are well-defined as in modules or semesters in the diploma course which includes sociocultural factors, leadership skills, environmental methodology, numbers study, language(s) emphasis and fine arts. The program incorporates internship as a part of certification. On successful completion of the program, beginners have the work opportunities in academic institutions for the position of assistant teacher, coordinator, research analyst, etc. Professionals have a widened scope of opportunities for the job roles which includes largely for position of psychologists, therapists, social workers, administrators and teachers.

A candidate is required to have completed senior school or equivalent level of examination in any stream with a minimum 50% score from a recognized board to be eligible for the program. Admission to the course is based on merit and a no. of institutes conduct an exam or counselling sessions as additional eligibility criterion. Qualified candidates are further reviewed in interview sessions.
